Digital. Creatives.
DC Digital has been used interchangeably with Domantay Consulting the company founded by “Direk” Jason Domantay in 2018 to formally engage clients, many of them former associates and even former students at the Ateneo De Manila University Business Resource Center, where he established the Digital Marketing and Social Media Management Program since 2016.
As part of that early crop of Millennials who found themselves working in Television in the 2000’s, Direk Jason embraced the larger “traditional” media industry’s disruption that was all but completed that decade in the hands of the new digital and social media.
From stints as both executive producer, director and talent at ABS-CBN, he moved to Yahoo! Southeast Asia as Video Content Head of arguably the most influential web-based media company of the time.
His move to Voyager Innovations in 2015 can also be viewed in context of the evolution of digital media in the region. After all, Voyager Innovations was the new digital unit founded then by leading Philippine telco conglomerate smart PLDT-Smart, and one of the most influential groups in the Philippine Innovation Ecosystem that by now included not only E-commerce, Digital Marketing, Content and Communications solutions but also new Financial Technologies.
In 2018, Direk Jason became the VP for Content of Sycamore Media's digital content production arm Seekscribe.
